The State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Taraba Chapter, Comrade Peter Jidiel has again been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Sunday.
According to a family member, who confirmed the incident to newsmen, Peter was abducted in his residence in Sunkani, Ardo kola local government area of the State at about 12:30 am.
According to his younger brother, in a telephone conversation, Boniface Stephen said the abductors called the family informing them that Peter has a fever but that since then up to the time of filing this report no demands were placed by them.
Recall that Peter Jediel was for the first time kidnapped six months ago in his same residence and on the same day in the early hours of Sunday 7/2/2021, at about 12:58 am.
When contacted for comment, the spokesperson of the Taraba State Police Command, DSP David Misal, said he is already on transfer and that nobody has been appointed yet.
